And today, despite an ongoing vaccination effort and signs of an improving global economy, uncertainty remains, and for millions of people around the world, the need to control budgets and spending has become paramount.  One way that consumers are taking greater control of their finances is through prepaid products and services. In order to gather insights into the prepaid market, Ding decided to undertake research into this fast growing segment of the global economy. The inaugural Ding Global Prepaid Index launched earlier this year, and explores consumer confidence, trends in mobile consumption, and global responses to the pandemic – particularly among those participating in the prepaid economy.
